28 hours and counting! And what we didn't eat for dinner!

Greetings from Hong Kong Well, here we are in this city of seven million people trying to stay awake to watch the fireworks over Victoria Harbour from our 34th floor hotel room...ready for some zzzz's really! We heard that there will be 400000 people gathered outside tonight and we're definitely not up for that. We really feel like foreigners here since we definitely stand out in the crowd! Now our Chinese dinner was really interesting...guess what we didn't eat? We took a pass on the shredded snake soup, the fish intestines, the goose eggs, the jelly fish stew, etc. The prawns were good and so was the BBQ suckling pig. Tomorrow we will ride the tram and the famous star ferry to the "other side" Kowloon. Maybe some high tea at the Peninsula hotel. More later Linda

  1. Ziggy and Marley say mmmmmm to the fish intestines. Don't forget a doggy bag. Oooops, we meant a kitty bag! Miss you!
